St. Michael's Golden-Domed Cathedral

St. Michael's monastery was founded in 1108 by the sons of Grand Duke of Kiev Izyaslav Yaroslavovich. The construction of the main monastery temple - St. Michael's Cathedral was ruined by the communists in 1935 and renewed in 90th after Ukraine independence proclaimed. Unique mosaics and wall paintings were placed back which were taken out before cathedral devastion and kept safe in the museums of Moscow and St. Petersburg.
