Kladovo
Kladovo is situated on the bank of the Danube River, a few kilometers from the end of Djerdapska gorge. Besides numerous historic monuments in the local area (Dijana, Fetislam…) and natural beauties ('Djerdap' national park, Vratna…), Kladovo with its new sport hall 'Jezero' offers good conditions for sport preparations. In the centre of the city, there is a beach on the Danube, and from a dock, not far from it, in a summer season there is a boat, which drives through a Djerdap gorge. Kladovo is a bordering city with Romania at the border crossing 'Djerdap 1'. The city is situated on the Djerdap highway that connects Belgrade with Bulgaria.
