Ethno complex Trsic (Tršić) and at the same time a place where a great Serbian language reformer, Vuk Karadzic was born, is 7 km from Loznica. It has a special cultural and tourist value since it represents a village of the XIX century and in this way it stands like a real museum in the open. It contains 35 buildings: houses, outbuildings, dairy stores, barns, water mills…A special unity is Vuk`s estate - 1.3 ha on which there is a commemorative house built in 1933 and the first Vuk`s parliament took place in the same year. Vuk`s parliament is one of the greatest cultural manifestations in Serbia and is held every year in September. There are many restaurants, and a special delight is walking through the forest path which leads to a beautiful monastery Tronosa.
