Vršac
City of Vrsac to its visitors offer the baroque experience of the Bishop's Palace, Roman – Catholic church of St. Gerhard, Concordia, Orthodox cathedral, the Monastery Mesic, and magnificent view of the Vrsac hill. Vrsac is a town of green parks and promenades and a numerous picnic grounds on the Vrsac hill. The symbols of city are Tower, wine, wine cellars and tamburitza players. Tower dating from the 15th century , the keep is the only part of the castle that remains. It has characteristic of Serbian and Byzantine fortifications and it was build probably by Serbian Despot Djuradj. Vrsac is situated on the border with Romania.
