Brankovina

The village of Brankovina is situated only 12 km from the town of Valjevo. A lot of famous Serbian people who played decisive roles in the historical events of the 18th an 19th centure were born in Brankovina. Today Brankovina is a popular and famous turist destination.

The old school is called “Protina” school. Today it is houses museum exhibition chronicling the development and education system of that time. The Church of the Holy Archangels is endowement of the Serbian Ortodox Pries Mateja Nenadovic. In the churchyard, close to the church, many members of the famous Nenadovic family are burried here.
