Lelic Monastery

Above the Gradac gorge, only 10 km from Valjevo, and only a few kilometers after the Celije monastery, there is Lelic(Lelić) monastery. It is on the Povlen mountain. This is the endowment of the great unifier of the Serbian people - a bishoup Nikolaj Velimirovic whose relics was moved from the United States into this church during the 1990`s. From this monastery, the last traces of urbanism disappear and the magical beauty of Povlen Mountain begins.
