Birdwatching


In Fruška Gora you can see over two hundred species of birds. To enjoy in their observation you need just a little good will and a binocular.

Birds are fearful animals and most of the species are rarely seen in nature. Because of that, it is very important to know their biology and ecology, their daily and season activities, types of habitat in which they nest and feed, ways of their communication, their appearance and behavior characteristics.

National park is organizing more different programs of bird watching for the visitors which include the forest and steppe habitat in the park, the Danube and the artificial lakes.

For the real enjoyment of eagle watching in close range National park has built an observation post close to the winter lodging for the birds of prey.
