Gracanica (Gračanica) is a Serbian Orthodox monastery located in Kosovo, 5 km from Pristina . It was founded by the Serbian king Stefan Milutin in 1321. Of the former monastic compound, only the church has survived. During Turkish Empire rule (1389 – 1913) Gračanica was an important cultural center.
