Ski resort Iver

A filmmaker Emir Kusturica, who is local resident, has built a snow ski resort “Iver” and an accompanying hotel “Mladost” , 7 km from Mecavnik. Besides the fifteen double rooms, the hotel will include a restaurant.

There are 7 cannons for artificial snow. Of the four ski runs, the black category one  is a thousand metres long and its width varies from 50 to 80 meters. Other ski runs are red category. The cable car flying over the run with the capacity to withstand 1000 skiers per hour.

Ski resort Iver can be reached by road from Mecavnik.
