Tara - rafting

Tara is one of the most beautiful and most attractive rivers in Europe. Starting point for raft is Brstanovica near Foca in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Unless rafting season on Tara lasts almost whole year, the best period for rafting is the second half of May and June, because there is adrenaline and water is not so cold.  If you don't mind the heat, then come a bit later in the year. Air temperature in the canyon Tara in the summer reaches over 30 degrees Celsius, while during night it is always fresh. The water temperature is maximum 11-12 degrees.
